Over Thanksgiving, the 3 "peepettes" and I painted pictures at Canvas and Cocktails, a local group paint with pop or cocktails.  Quite fun!  Actually - it is GREAT fun. And we bring home art for the holiday! A most memorable moment. Sometimes I like to pretend my life is calm, serene and photogentic-ish. Then the speed gathers and it's off to another mini crisis with a crazy deadline.

Had a fantastic walk with the dogs early Sunday morning in a small open space near our house. We live in the southern suburbs of Denver, Colorado where the coyotes also roam.  My husband was the official dog walker since he had the leash.  I was the official National Geographic photographer.  It's good to role play.  Happy Halloween!  I LOVE pumpkins!  So cute.  So carvable.  So decorative.  So ORANGE! Ink Jet printing on aluminum foil. Print idea in Marie Otero's  Digital Magic Online Class. Pretty shocking idea, print on aluminum foil.  I did do a short rendition of the "please, please, please, don't let the foil rip in the printer" dance.  Printed the photos when everyone was out of the house.  Didn't want him to explain "the dance" or why I thought printing on aluminum foil was a good idea

Saw this sign driving south on I25 (Colorado's N and S expressway). Handily, there was a nearby exit. A photo-op waiting for a photographer. Love that "sweet" is its OWN color. The simple lines of farming on the plains. WOW of sun preparing for the mountain meetup. Layers upon layers. Simple shapes of subtle beauty, makes me want to sit and look. again.

Adding pages to the moleskine (vellum attached with masking tape) Liking the addition. The want to create doesn't always come with time attached. Always trying to take over the kitchen utensils with creative non-food projects. Photo of buildings dipped in beeswax with art applied nearby. Another dipped photo, scratched with sandpaper, dipped in beeswax, dried, attached with small strips of masking tape. The photos are smooth as can be.
